Do you feel your own life experience can help someone who is currently facing a terminal illness diagnosis or mourning the loss of a loved one?
We are now accepting applications to become an end-of-life and/or bereavement visitor. This is a process that will involve the review of your application, an interview and then specific training designed for end of life visitor and bereavement visitor volunteers.
Interviews are currently being scheduled for May, 2016 in preparation for our summer training.
Summer Training: – all training takes place at the College of the Rockies (Invermere campus) on Friday evenings from 6-9 pm and on Saturdays from 10-4 pm.
Bereavement Visitor Training- June 10/11 and 17/18 (with an additional 3 hr evening session at the beginning of July)
End-of-Life Visitor Training- July 8/9 and 15/16, (with and additional 3 hr evening session at the beginning of August)
