Visitation in Home:
Our in-home visitation program partners you with one of our volunteer bereavement visitors. Our visitors are trained to companion you through the grief journey. Once a week you will visit with a hospice volunteer for an hour in your home. It is an opportunity for you to talk about your loved one, to share stories and pictures, and/or to discuss the challenges that you are currently facing.
Visitation in Other Locations:
For some people it is more comfortable to meet outside the home. This is the same program as above, the only difference is that you will meet your Hospice Volunteer at a location more comfortable for you such as a coffee shop, the gym, the park, the beach, the choice is between you and your Hospice volunteer.
