Our Public Education programs are divided into the following categories:
The Resource Centre consists of a large variety of information such as pamphlets and planning materials and is the permanent home of the book of remembrance. The Lending Library consists of over 100 titles which includes books and CD’s available on loan for adults and children relating to a variety of topics including end of life grief, loss, and bereavement. Both the Resource Centre and Lending Library are housed in the main office at Frater Landing.
The Hospice Society travels the valley to deliver information on end-of-life and bereavement issues. Our next tour will be Fall 2016. Info will be posted as soon as it is available.
Workplace Workshops upon request
These workshops are specially designed with the client in mind. Whether you need bereavement support or sensitivity training, we are happy to design a program that meets your specific needs.
